Use Case
In 2026, IPC Systems had only a few weeks to complete CDP and EcoVadis while preparing its first full ESG report. ESG Officer Manuel Ibáñez combined his framework expertise with Briink’s AI to speed up the groundwork and close disclosure gaps without compromising on quality.
Result
With Briink, IPC Systems had a complete first draft of its CDP response in 5 days, saving around two weeks of drafting effort and about 60% of drafting time. Every answer was checked against CDP’s scoring methodology before submission.
The Approach
- AI pre-filling: Briink drafted answers to the entire CDP questionnaire, starting from IPC's previous answers and updating them automatically with existing company documents and data. This gave the ESG Officer a strong first draft to review and improve.
- AI pre-scoring: Each response was checked against CDP's scoring methodology before submission.
- AI gap analysis: A list of prioritized action recommendations was provided to close gaps.
- API export to CDP: Reviewed responses were exported to the CDP portal through the API, which removed most of the manual copying and pasting.
For EcoVadis, Briink's AI surfaced the relevant documentation for each question, referenced the underlying sources, and helped identify additional supporting evidence.
With Briink, IPC Systems saved around two weeks of drafting effort, and its ESG Officer had a complete first draft of the CDP response within 5 days – so overall ~60% time savings were achieved. Most of the time savings came from three steps: (1) AI pre-filling replaced drafting answers from scratch. (2) AI pre-scoring showed where responses could earn more points before submission. (3) The gap analysis produced a prioritized list of recommended actions, so effort went to the improvements with the biggest impact.
Because the AI did the time-consuming groundwork, the ESG Officer could focus on review and refinement, and on the work that strengthens a disclosure most, such as completing third-party verification of four years of emissions data and making IPC's CDP response public. With these targeted improvements in place, IPC Systems aims to improve on last year's CDP score. The final score will be published by CDP in December.
